Virtua HealthRenaissance Square

Description

The Virtua Renaissance Square project was a 32,000 SF interior renovation to an existing department store building located in Marlton NJ. The project consisted of providing new exam, procedure, surgical, pulmonary rooms as designed by Tono Architects. The project also incorporated a Laboratory and a 2,500 SF Physical Therapy Room with state-of-the-art equipment. This project was a reallocation of Virtua’s medical offices, which were located in different buildings and locations in Southern New Jersey. This project now allows these different programs to operate in one facility.

Target provided all new underground plumbing for the project which consisted of cutting open the existing concrete slab, and installing a new underground piping system throughout the space. Target provided all new sprinkler piping for the Virtua Space in lieu of leaving the existing system in place. Eight new RTUs and associated ductwork was provided for the conditioning of the building. A new electrical service was installed to accommodate Virtua’s operations. The existing building consisted of a joist framed roof ranging in heights from 14 FT to 22 FT.  Therefore, Target had to build walls to these high elevations in order to maintain sound transmission as required by Virtua. All new custom millwork was furnished for each exam room, team areas, reception area and more. Target completed the project safely, on time and under budget.
